Maybe one person, in their life have multiple soulmates although married to one person.
Now, it's not that they are cheating on them... it's just that, there are different people and they play different roles in our lives.
See, my reporting manager, from my previous office is married to a wonderful guy, sure... but sometimes i feel a connection with her that i know even she cannot deny.
Although your life partner could be your lifeline, you just might have multiple soulmates.
Soulmates are those who reach out to you beyond 4 dimensions of time and space. It's energy. Vibrations.
I'd like to think that there was a reason I had a calling to Ahmedabad.
Me and She, we get on the wrong foot many a time but we always have each others back at all times.
I remember she being vulnerable to me about her life as I was to her.
She's always been so supportive... and I'm pretty sure it's not because her job asks her to. It's because that's who she is.
And then there are people you meet, at random and they become a part of your life and become an integral part of your day or your weekend.
Like, these two kiddos I met in Ahmedabad - Green and Cream, say.
And the two room mates I had - Pink and Beige.
I'm taking their colours instead of names for discrepencies sake, but still - they all connected with me at a level. Or may I coorect myself and say, each had connected with me on different levels.
I was learning to be calm and wise and take things as they are with Beige. Pink thought me to be more driven, focused and be in touch with family.
Green was a friend, a wanderer and a soul ever ready to find and explore and learn.
Cream was a cute little patootie who'd look at things with wonder and love.
And then, there's Gunpowder Grey. This soul was a connection that made me feel less lonely, less in the pitch black darkness and I could have some fun in the nigths by just being myself and talking to them.
And then there's a pallete of colours from school, college, and other work places.
There are random strangers we meet, we connect and we tangle just a bit, like the braided cords from Japan.
That's Musubi. [And I'm a big fan of Musubi, so let's keep a post about that for later... :)]
But yeah, in contrast to what I said above, I still like to believe in soulmates that are connected with the Red String of Fate.
Like, no matter who you meet in life, it's because we are connected to them in some form or another. We owe them from our past lifetimes [if you like to believe in that] or just have a random encounter because the universe was designed that way.
And all these little moments make up somehting huge, becase and obciously, the butterfly effect alwasy takes place.
Coming back to the red strings...
It's like despite we meet so many people in our lives, we're destined to be with that one person for the rest of our lives.
And ain't that beatiful?
Until later,
